The Present Perfect Tense: Learn English Grammar! / 現在完了形:英文法を学ぶ

Have you studied the PRESENT PERFECT tense before? Have you ever been confused between simple past and present perfect? Would you like to learn when to use present perfect? First, this English lesson will explain what the present perfect tense is and how it is different from the simple past tense. You will learn when to use simple past vs present perfect, including two valuable tips about ‘when’.

Then you will learn how to make present perfect sentences with examples:Subject + have / has + past participle + object.I have lived in Japan. She has swum in the ocean.

You’ll also learn how using the words ‘for’ or ‘since’ with the present perfect shows that the action started in the past and is still continuing.
For + duration: I have taught English for 11 years.Since + starting time: I have taught English since 2009.

After that you will learn how to make negative present perfect sentences with examples:Subject + have / has + not (or hasn’t / hasn’t) + past participle + object.We haven’t visited England. He has not eaten poutine. *Sometimes native English speakers replace ‘not’ with the word never to emphasize that the action didn’t happen in the past at all:They have never drunk sake. She has never driven a car.

This lesson will also explain how we can use the word ‘before’ with negative present perfect sentences to talk about an action that we are doing for the first time, we have never done it before this point:She is confused because she has never studied English before. (She is studying English now for the first time)They have not travelled abroad before. (They are travelling abroad now, or making plans to travel soon.)

In addition, you will learn how to make questions using the present perfect. For yes or no present perfect questions:Have / Has + subject + past participle + object?Q) Have you subscribed to JeN’s Jyugyou? A) Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.Q) Has she ridden a horse before? A) Yes, she has. / No, she hasn’t.*

Native English speakers often add the word ‘ever’ in these types of questions:Have / Has + subject + ever + past participle + object?Q) Have you ever met a celebrity? Q) Has he ever won an award?

For WH present perfect questions:WH question word + Have / Has + subject + past participle + object?Q) How many countries have you travelled to? Q) Where have you been?

主語+ have / has + 過去分詞+ 目的語

‘for’又’since’という語を行動が過去に始まり現在も続いてるのを示す現在完了と共にどの様に使うか学ぶ
For + 期間
Since + 開始時間

貴方は例で否定的現在完了文の作り方を学ぶ:
主語+ have / has + not (or hasn’t / hasn’t) + 過去分詞+ 目的語

* 時々ネーティブはその行動が過去に起こらなかったのを強調するのに： notの代わりneverという語を使う

この授業で私たちが初めての行動について話しこの時点迄にそれを行ったことがない否定現在完了文に’before’という語をどの様に使うかも説明する
