One of the Selati male lion coalition Roaring. The roar is a form of communication. By roaring he stays in contact with his other coalition members. The roar carries to the edges of a male lions territory and beyond so rival males know a territory is actively occupied when they hear the roaring. The roaring also reassures the lionesses that the territory is being defended and their cubs are safe.
