People like to participate, to share emotions and to help each other. That's in our nature! Tim and Robert share their ideas on how crowds can help reshape the most important themes in life. All that our companies and institutions need to achieve great things is to stop treating customers solely as a target and start seeing them as a valuable resource.

Tim Meuleman and Robert Van Meer are co-authors, entrepreneurs and speakers who are completely crowdsourcing minded , intervening at several business schools and universities. Their ambition is to structurally change business as we know it, by offering consumers the participating lead role within organizations.
In 2010, Robert van Meer and Tim Meuleman started their company 'C2B', by which they support companies in making this shift. In 2011 they wrote 'The C2B revolution', the first book about crowdsourcing in the Netherlands, which won the title Marketing Book of the Year (PIM Marketing Literature Prize). They have joined the crowdsourcing phenomenon since its beginnings in 2008. Since then, they have acquired a diverse experience through a variety of roles: as initiators, as intermediary, but also as participating members of a crowd.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
