Lee Weisert and Jonathon Kirk produced delightful, innovative electronic music with their performance on "Subaquatic Sound Art." The Argus Project used submersible hydrophones to record the unsettling sounds of unknown origin. For instance, these underwater microphones detected changes in temperature and light throughout the day and night, giving an evolving performance from under water.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
