Katerina Kimmorley, the Cofounder and Director of Pollinate
Energy, is a social entrepreneur, environmental economist and
international speaker. In 2013 she spoke at the UNFCCC COP 19
where Pollinate Energy won a Momentum for Change Award. The
same year, she was recognised by the Financial Review as one
of Australia's 100 Women of Influence. After working in renewable
energy policy in 2011 she produced The Upside Down Under
series to highlight the benefits of Australia combatting climate
change. The aim of Pollinate Energy is to provide sustainable
energy to urban slum dwellers across India. Drawing from her
personal experiences, Katerina's talk focuses on how youth
can pave their own career paths in today's globalised world.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
