I know what you’re all thinking. “When are we going to get a new Smurfs movie???”. No? Well Another one is coming anyway, but this time it’s a little bit different. Sony Pictures Animation has announced the new SMURFS movie has moved 6 months from August 2016 to March 2017, and this time it will be an all animated reboot of the series. The director of the new SMURFS film, Kelly Asbury, who also directed SHREK 2, had this to say about the new movie: "I want nothing more than for this ALL-NEW ANIMATED SMURF MOVIE REBOOT to be the very best ever depiction of the Smurfs since the original Peyo comic books.
