First GHOSTBUSTERS Reboot On Set Pictures - AMC Movie News

The new all female Ghostbusters reboot movie began filming yesterday in Boston and several pictures have been making their way online.  These set photos show Kristen Wiig wearing business attire, Melissa McCarthy in casual clothes while Casey McKinnon seems to be wearing a leather jacket on top of paint covered overalls. The other Ghostbusters team member, Leslie Jones was not seen on set. The Boston Herald wrote this unofficial synopsis for the film:
Wiig and McCarthy play a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real. Flash forward a few years and Wiig lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia U. Which is pretty sweet, until her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia.
 Wiig reunites with McCarthy and the other two proton pack-packing phantom wranglers, and she gets some sweet revenge when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world.
Ghostbusters is being directed by Bridesmaids and The Heat director Paul Feig and hits AMC Theatres on July 22, 2016.
