Sg Buloh's Legendary Kong Peng Kopitiam Still Blooms With Life !

No many people know that Sg Buloh is more than just about leprosy and plant nurseries. Indeed, Sg Buloh is a large area that stretches to many new housing areas and highways nowadays. Manaweblife ventured into the Valley Of Hope Leprosy Centre in Sg Buloh to unveil an old-time kopitiam that still attracts people from outside this centre. The name Kong Peng is still used and the video shows the original signage still proudly intact. Now this small gathering spot of residents from around and outside this area is taken care by one 'outsider' Mr Check. He says that the original founders have passed and gone, and he has been running this shop for over 10 years. The cozy atmosphere here echoes a communal spirit amidst many flourishing plant nurseries all around. Old folks come here to catch up with news, gossip and have cuppa for breakfast and afternoon tea. Regular customers bring their own food or snacks and have a jolly good time together here. 
It is the heritage of the brand Kong Peng that lives on and we hope that everyone coming to the Valley Of Hope will be able to experience this unique legacy.
