Last week we discussed the report from Bloody Disgusting that the newest film in The Ring horror franchise, RINGS, would be a prequel. However, ShockTillYouDrop is now reporting that story was incorrect, siting that the film’s director, Javier Gutierrez, has tweeted out that the new film is indeed a sequel that takes place 13 years after the event in the first film. Buy or sell the new RING film being a sequel rather than a prequel.
