According to a report from horror site Bloody Disgusting, the upcoming Paramount Pictures continuation of The Ring franchise, currently titled RINGS, is actually going to be a prequel to The Ring and The Ring set, set years before the events of the first film. The Ring and The Ring 2 are remakes of the Japanese RINGU series by director Hideo Nakata which had 4 films. Buy or sell a RING prequel film?
