International Women's Day is on March 8th! Today, we are following Alma Van Dorenmalen, the Head of Animal Care at Lilongwe Wildlife Rescue Trust in Malawi, to rescue and rehabilitate the newest and cutest arrival - a baby baboon nicknamed Doodle Bob.

The team at the Lilongwe Wildlife Trust in Southeast Africa is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured and orphaned animals, ensuring they get back into the wild where they belong. Malawi is one of the poorest countries in Africa and resources are scarce, so the team has to make do and improvise. Power cuts are common, the rainy season inundates the center, but work must go on.
