Has Spider-Man been cast? That depends on who you listen to. According to several rumors online, including Latino Review, actor Asa Butterfield has been offered the role of the web slinger and final contract talks have begun with his reps. HOWEVER, The Hollywood Reporter and Variety are saying that no offer has been made yet to Butterfield with Variety adding any negotiations with Butterfield at the moment are simply for a test contract before Butterfield comes in to audition. Deadline adds to the confusion by claiming they have sources that say Butterfield is in EARLY talks, but that Sony is still talking to other potential Spider-Men as well.
