Since it was announced that Sony and Marvel had reached an agreement to work together on the Spider-Man franchise many people online have been speculating about both who the new Spider-Man would be, and who would direct it. You can add a name to the potential directors list as rumors emerged yesterday that CABIN IN THE WOODS director Drew Goddard is in talks for the web slinger. Goddard was already attached to direct the Spider-Man spinoff SINISTER SIX before the upheaval at Sony.
