CECIL Street – or See See Kai in Cantonese – is a name you will not find on today map because it hasbeen renamed Jalan Hang Lekiu. . Sin Kiew Yee noodle stall is one of the very few beef noodle sellers in the city that can give you a good portion of tender beef fillet with your order. The stalls hand-made beef balls are so springy and crunchy.They have been operating since 1949 at this lane between the two blocks of shop houses ever since inheriting from the family. Their specialities besides the beef noodles are also Hakka noodles and 100% handmade “Lou Shu Fun” noodles and their operating hours are from 6:30pm till 10:30pm but they are closed on Wednesdays. I would say that they are the best I have ever tasted and so far, no eating place has come close. Go ahead and give it a try and I’m sure you’ll agree with me.
