Teneile Warren discusses Reading for Social Change.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Teneile Warren is the Program Coordinator and Lead Facilitator for Literature for Life, a nonprofit that works to improve the lives of this generation and the next through the power of reading. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph. A writer by design creates literary works that explore the complexity of identity and the impact of the external world on our inner being. Her work has been staged, published, loved and challenged.
