Nina works in Kosovo as an investigator in the war crimes investigation unit in Eulex, and as a Case Manager for war crimes against women -- sexual abuse and rape. She is implementing an important approach to reach our for female victims of war through local NGO's, village elderly and private contacts, in order to find victims who still want to talk to the police and want ask for justice for what happened to them. Her goal is not only to investigate but also to raise public awareness and to empower the survivors.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
