Before there were online  food deliveries, before there were food trucks, there was the familiar tricycle food and beverage traders . And they still are  right here on the busy streets and side lanes of Penang!  Sometimes they station at specific spots ,sometimes they are mobile and go where the crowd are. Whatever or wherever they are, the variety in their "mobile units" cam range from all shapes and sizes of breads , to  colourful tidbits and even coconut drinks . These traditional traders are indeed a culinary heritage of this multi-faceted haven of food and food culture. Watch out for them and grab something different on wheels.
