A NASA airborne science campaign is all about what you can learn about our planet from the air — and that requires a durable and versatile airplane and a great crew to fly it. Meet one of NASA’s C-130 Hercules aircraft, currently flying above the Atlantic Ocean measuring aerosols, clouds, ocean color, and atmospheric chemistry as part of the 2016 North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study, or NAAMES for short.
