Help us continue this program, and reach more new youth leaders in Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, and Tanzania. Help us bring music back into children's lives.
In February 2013 Leontine graduated from Musicians without Borders' music leadership training in Kigali, Rwanda. Since then she and her 24 colleagues have brought music to thousands of HIV+ children.
Every week the graduated youth leaders use music in regular support groups with hundreds of vulnerable children who look up to them for help and mentorship. Twice a month they travel to partner organizations and offer music to hundreds of children through outreach workshops.
The new skills learned during the training have empowered the youth leaders as change-makers in their own society. They have felt the effect of music on themselves, and they see it in the children with whom they work.
