A pride of lions has taken an impala. The young hyena prince, Mizumu, follows the birds to the kill. He homes in on their landing spot. It’s a significant moment in this young hyena’s life… the first time he’s discovered a kill for himself. He moves in to stake his claim, but the vultures aren’t his biggest problem.
The carcass is already half-eaten, but still weighs more than fifty pounds. Another hyena also followed the vultures, looking for a steal. But luckily for the teenager, it’s his mother, Mala. She’s always there when he needs her. Together they’re a strong team.
