JOHN WICK 2 Is Confirmed - AMC Movie News

It’s been confirmed that the surprise hit action film, JOHN WICK, is returning for a sequel. According to the studio the entire creative team is returning for the sequel which includes Keanu Reeves, directors David Leitch and Chad Stahelski and screenwriter Derek Kolstad. Lionsgate President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions Jason Constantine said the following: "With such tremendous fan and critical support for ‘John Wick,’ we knew that there was still so much more of this story to tell. We are thrilled that Keanu, David and Chad have re-teamed with us and promise to bring audiences even more excitement the second time around". The film will also be a sequel, as opposed to a prequel as some have speculated as Lionsgate described the film as this: "In the follow up to last year’s adrenaline-fueled revenge and redemption thriller, legendary hit man John Wick is back.”
