In Berlin, thousands marched in support of women's rights and gender equality to mark International Women's Day. For the first time, it has been declared a public holiday in the German capital. The march is in protest against sexism and gender discrimination worldwide. But how are women faring in Germany? DW's Melinda Crane reports from Berlin.
