Mother tiger Rana and her young family live in Nagarhole National Park, in Southern India. Her plight is shared by many tigers in this part of India, caused largely by humans who have poached their prey and encroached on their habitat. Now, there are less than 2500 bengal tigers left. Rana isn't licked yet, and stumbles upon a clearing where plenty of prey reside. A lone Sambar deer heads to the woods alone, and Rana just may have a shot at him. She waits patiently in the bushes, and surprises the Sambar to his demise. Rana has succeeded, and calls her cubs to come feast. The tigers will eat for the next 4 days, and live to hunt another day.
