This video gives examples of nouns and prepositions. Sentences like these may seem difficult, because there's no rule to tell you which preposition to use after which noun. It's often arbitrary. Why do we say "talent for singing" and not "talent in singing"? There's no real reason. To make things worse, these usages sometimes differ between different dialects of English.

We've got just two things going for us. First, these preposition usages are difficult in every language, not just English. There are no universal rules about prepositions. And second, there are quite a few very common noun-preposition pairs in English. These are the subject of this video. If you listen to and practice these, you'll be right with 95 percent of your English nouns and prepositions.
