A convertible car seat can be installed in wither rear facing or forward facing configuration depending on the size and age of the child. To start, use the LATCH attachments to hook onto the lower anchors. When installing the seat in a forward facing configuration, be sure to deploy the footers. It is important to tether the seat since that reduces forward movement giving the child better head protection.
