Tools & Ingredients:
2 mixing bowls
Aluminum Foil
Baking tray
Whisk or hand blender
Large Ziploc bag or piping bag
1 long wooden skewer
Cooking spray
1/4 cup of flour
1 and 1/2 cups of sugar
1 package of yellow cake mix
1 and 1/2 cups of shortening
1 and 1/2 cups of unsalted butter
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1 cup of cold milk
3/4 cup of water
4 egg whites
1 empty spice shaker
Instructions:
1- Add the cake mix to a mixing bowl
2- Add 3/4 of a cup of water to the cake mix
3- Mix thoroughly
4- Separate four yolks and keep only the egg whites
5- Use the blender to mix the eggs until the peaks are stiff
6- Pre-heat the oven to 325F
7- Mix 1/3 of the egg whites into the batter
8- Combine the remaining egg whites to the batter
9- To fold you must first scoop underneath
10- Fold the batter over
11- Turn the bowl to complete the process
12- Repeat this process until the batter and egg whites become one consistent color
13- Grab an empty spice bottle and aluminum foil
14- Fold the aluminum foil in half
15- Place the empty spice bottle at one end of the aluminum foil
16- Fold the aluminum foil over the bottom of the spice bottle
17- Crease the end of the aluminum foil
18- Roll the two together
19- At the 1/4 mark fold the bottom in
20- Push the bottom down to create a flat surface
21- Remove the spice bottle
22- Grease the inside of the twinkie cases
23- Fill a piping bag with the batter you created earlier
24- Take the cake batter and fill the twinkie case 3/4 to the top
25- Place the twinkies in the oven for 30 minutes
26- Add 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar to a large mixing bowl
27- Add 1 and 1/2 cups of softened unsalted butter
28- Add 1 and 1/2 cups of lard
29- Mix all the ingredients together
30- Add 1 cup of milk
31- Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla
32- Remove the twinkies from the oven and let them cool to room temperature
33- Fill the piping tube with cream
34- Use the dull end of a skewer to poke two or three holes in each twinkie
35- Place the piping bag in the hole and fill it with cream... PAUSE
