While technology is driving most innovation in today's time, simple, functional design can impact the lives of people in a powerful way. An upcoming designer in the field of New Media studies, with a background in visual communication, Tania Jain is determined to explore the power of design to make learning fun for kids. True to that spirit, she has been working on interactive educational kits for visually challenged children, which promise to change the way these kids "see" the world.
Tania began her journey in the field of design as a Communication Design student at NIFT, Delhi; then went on to work as a graphic designer at CoDesign for two years, where she worked on several graphic and multi-media design projects. She joined the National Institute of Design, Gandhinagar in the discipline of New Media Design in June 2012, and is still a student there, mixing and mashing the worlds of design and technology.
