Seán Arthurs is a Doctoral Candidate in the Education Leadership Program at the Harvard Graduate School of
Education. Before Harvard, Arthurs was a Clinical Teaching Fellow and Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center and remains deeply grateful to his colleagues there, Rick Roe, Melinda Cooperman, Efrain Marimon, Rachel Cicurel, and Sarah Medway for their help in co-creating the Innocence Project Curriculum. Before Georgetown, Arthurs practiced law for five years, including two as a Skadden Fellow and staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society for Greater Cincinnati. He was a high school teacher for seven years and has presented on Street Law and its unique approach to learner-centered education in locations throughout the United States and across the globe.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
