Fassbender Talks ASSASSIN’S CREED - AMC Movie News

Talk about the live movie adaptation of the popular video game series ASSASSIN’S CREED has been ongoing for years now, and has made many fans of the series wonder if the movie itself is ever actually coming. However, in a recent interview with our friends at ComingSoon, ASSASSIN’S CREED producer and star, Michael Fassbender said the following: "You say it’s a long time but what I’ve found–it’s all new to me but starting to develop scripts and work on them, they take time. It just takes time to get a good story together and we really want to do it right. It’s exciting. It’s going to start this year, we’ll be filming in September.” When asked about the reports that he’ll be playing the character Desmond Miles Fassbender responded "You don’t know that. Don’t listen to what they tell you, that’s the first rule.” ASSASSIN’S CREED is currently scheduled to hit AMC Theatres in December 2016.
