Hi AMC crew, love the show and I also loved Interstellar (Like a lot). Sure it has some dialogue problems and plot holes if you dive deep. But my question is about Nolan himself.

With his recent rise in popularity after the Dark Knight trilogy and Inception, people have come to expect so much from him. I feel people expected perfection, and that greatly affected their views on the finished film. Is it possible that people would like Interstellar a lot more if it didn't have Nolan's name on it, and was directed by someone else?
