Controversy is accompanying the build-out of Europe's 5G network. Almost every major telecom carrier says they need equipment from China's Huawei to control costs and meet deadlines. However, the US has been pressuring its allies to avoid Huawei components. The superfast 5G wireless network may be critical for applications ranging from driverless cars to remote surgery.
