The EU's top court has ruled that the bloc's food safety agency has to release the details of studies on the controversial weedkiller glyphosate. The European Commission had classified glyphosate as safe, based on scientific studies presented by private companies. But when EU lawmakers demanded access to those studies, their request was denied on the basis that it could harm those companies' interests.
