South Africans have been shocked by the findings of an official inquiry into corruption allegations against former president Jacob Zuma. The so-called 'state capture' scandal centers around the Guptas, a wealthy Indian business family. South Africa's former finance minister has now testified and estimates around 6.2 billion euros may have been stolen through corrupt government tenders. The country's anti-corruption ombudsman says the Guptas held such sway that they were able to choose some of Zuma's cabinet ministers. In our interview with Mmusi Maimane, the leader of South Africa's main opposition party 'Democratic Alliance', we talk about the corruption scandal, where the country is headed and the potential leadership role he could play.
