By using complicated tax arrangements, some multinationals can pay a third less tax than companies that only operate in one country. Well, if they're paying less, someone else has to pay more. And that needs to stop! That's why we have brought forward proposals to promote fairer competition between companies, to build trust in Europe's businesses and the fairness of our tax systems. To accompany this important initiative, we produced a video, with Commissioner Jonathan Hill.
