After we take a spin on the Tilt-A-Whirl, let’s ride the Ferris wheel and then eat some funnel cake with cotton candy and ice cream! I also want to go in the funhouse, watch the fireworks, and eat a corndog! Let’s have fun at the fair and learn important vocabulary to talk about fairs and carnivals in English.

For today’s JeN’s Jyugyou lesson we will study English as we explore the CNE (the Canadian National Exhibition) which is Canada’s biggest fair. The words you learn in today’s vocabulary lesson will help you to improve your English and are helpful to know for having fun with your friends at fairs or carnivals. This lesson may also help you to learn about Canadian culture by showing how fairs and carnivals are different in Canada than they are in your country. We will take a look at carnival rides, carnival food, and other important carnival vocabulary.
