An attack by suspected Boko Haram extremists has left 65 people dead in Nigeria. The attack took place in a village in Borno state in northeastern Nigeria. The victims had been attending a funeral when they were gunned down by a gang of militants in vans and riding motorbikes. For 10 years, Borno state has been the epicenter of a Boko Haram insurgency that has forced almost two million people to flee their homes – and left many thousands dead.
