People in the Middle East, Pakistan, Indonesia and other parts of Asia witnessed a rare solar eclipse that was visible today. What's known as an annular eclipse, or ring of fire, darkened skies over the United Arab Emirates and other parts of the Arabian peninsula. Its path of visibility then moved eastwards across the Indian Ocean before ending over the Pacific.
