Grant also discussed her upcoming performance at the gala and how MusiCares' services have positively impacted her friends, among other topics.King will be honored as the 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year on Jan. 24 at a special tribute concert and dinner, recognizing her accomplishments as an artist and humanitarian.
