2020 Range Rover Evoque *First Look* Video Review | Interviews - Technology - Off-Road

The brand new 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque may look like the old model but this one is completely new. The Evoque is responsible for bringing a new and younger customer to the brand. With a starting price of under $44k and will be hitting dealerships soon. To demo the Evoque’s new technology called Clearsight Ground View, we test drove this vehicle in the mountains above Athens Greece. This world’s first technology lets you see the terrain underneath the car.

Bringing the Evoque into the next decade, this new little luxury suv is even greener. There is now a mild hybrid version for the 2020 model year. There is a 48 volt battery and electric assist to help you get things rolling up to 11 MPH which will eliminate the annoying start stop system.

For 202 Land Rover has made the new Evoque more aggressive. The 2020 Evoque is built upon completely new architecture but thankfully keeps the same great shape. Gerry McGovern who is Chief Design Officer at Land Rover says the design for this update is about recognizing the areas where you can improve. The number of lines were reduced to a minimal amount while at the same time keep true to the balance. The wheelbase was lengthened to optimize the proportions.
