Lighter and more agile than the SLS, the GT S is a true driver’s car.

Mercedes-AMG fits the coupe with a ‘launch control’ mode that effectively modulates the throttle and traction during a staged 0-60 MPG run. Or, simply put the drive mode selector into ‘Race’ and floor the accelerator. Traction is the limiting factor during repeated launches, as both rear tires continuously break free as they struggle to hook up. Do everything properly, and the 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT S will hit 60 mph in just over three seconds.
