Mazda recently redesigned the Mazda3 from top to bottom giving the car a freshened look, better chassis, more technology, and 2 different fuel efficient SKYACTIV engines. The model tested here is a 2.0 Liter 4-cylinder that makes 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft. of torque. This may not be much but realize the Mazda3 is tuned for gas mileage.

A best 0-60 MPH time of 8.4 seconds was made possible with a 6-speed manual transmission and the Traction Control switched "Off"
