Jeep is offering a line of new clean-diesel engines starting with the Grand Cherokee for the 2014 model year. These engines are fuel efficient and provide tons of torque with an additional cost of $5000 over the price of the base powerplant. The engine in this test is a 3.0 liter TurboDiesel V-6 that makes 240 horsepower and 420 lb-ft. of torque. A best 0-60 MPG acceleration test time of 7.5 seconds was accomplished with the Drive Mode set to "Sport" and the Traction Control turned "Off"
