The 2014 Ford Fiesta ST has been eagerly awaited for by subcompact car fans in the U.S. for several years. In that time we have seen our European friends enjoying the Fiesta ST's turbocharged charm; but now it's our turn. Sure there is plenty of power on tap, but the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST was much less willing to dance around the cones and corners then when compared to the larger Focus ST sibling which is an absolute blast to drive. A big part of the problem was the Fiesta's stability control system which intervened even with the system supposedly turned off. This hampered exit speeds and induced under steer.
