This is my take on Yakamein, which is famous in New Orleans, but for whatever reason, not that well known outside of Louisiana. Besides being a comforting and delicious thing to eat, this easy to make soup is a famously effective hangover cure, which explains its nickname, “Old Sober.” Enjoy!
