Virginia Zaharieva is a writer and psychotherapist in a private practice. She has specialized analytically Neo-Reichian therapy in Switzerland and is director of the Bulgarian Institute for mental body psychotherapy.
With her overall literary work and citizenship she works for audibility of the female voice and the construction of contemporary Bulgarian society as a collection of free and conscious individuals.
Virginia is an author of four books of poetry and is defined by critics as one of the talented voices in the poetry of 90 - they are. She is also a founder of the local radio station Radio France
Internationale in Sofia - 1995. At the end of the 90s she has created "PS" - the first gender magazine in Bulgaria . In 2000 her first audiodisc Embient "Bulgarian natural sounds" has been issued which became the symbol of Bulgaria sound. Her novel "9 Rabbits" was nominated from "Helicon" for contemporary Bulgarian fiction for 2008 and the prestigious Edward Vick - Novel of the Year 2008 .
In 2009 she published a collection of essays " Mercy of small mirrors." These are texts about the relationship of man with the house, the interrelationship with the others and his need to create
and travel. All her poetry was published recently in the collection of works named "VIRGINII".

TEDxMladostWomen took place on December 7th in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was organized around TEDxWomen 2013.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
