Why Parenting should begin before conception: Anna Verwaal at TEDxNakaseroWomen 2013

Anna Verwaal shares some of the latest research and findings in epigenetic science and pre and perinatal psychology and explains how the conception, womb and birth experience leaves a lasting imprint on our lives.
She also illustrates that if we want to support the future of humanity and give our children an optimum start in life, parenting should begin before conception.
Anna is a maternal-child health nurse, midwifery and nursing instructor, conscious conception and birth consultant, certified lactation educator and birth photographer from the Netherlands, currently residing in the USA.
