Malcolm Young wasn't just one of the founding members of the legendary rock band AC/DC, he was also the band's leader. From their earliest days as a small Australian cult band with lead singer Bon Scott, to their time as the biggest, baddest, and loudest rock band in the world with lead singer Brian Johnson, Malcolm Young was behind the scenes directing it all, while also playing rhythm guitar alongside his brother, lead guitarist Angus Young.

Tragically, though, Malcolm Young passed away in 2017 from alzheimers at the age of 64. But the mastermind behind music like "Back in Black" and "Thunderstruck" left an unmatched legacy. Here's a look at what the last 12 months of Malcolm Young's life were like.
