What Is Chain Stretch? How to Use A Chain Checker To Save Money!

We all want to ride our mountain bikes as much as we can. Unfortunately, the more we ride the bigger the repair bill tends to be. Drivetrain parts usually get replaced the most, but Anna Cippullo has a few tips and tricks to save you some money. If your chain is 'stretched' it will cause you to wear through chain rings, cassettes and jockey wheels at a rapid rate. Anna explains what chain 'stretch' is, how to measure it and when to replace your chain so that the rest of your drivetrain lasts longer and saves you money.
