US President Donald Trump heads to India next week, for a two-day state visit. On the itinerary is a trip to the Taj Mahal and a long-awaited trade deal to be signed in New Delhi. But the highlight of the trip will be when Donald and Melania Trump are welcomed with a mega-event in the western city of Ahemdabad, in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat. India promises an unparalleled spectacle. Trump has said he expects millions of people to show up to greet him. But a mixed welcome may await Donald Trump instead. A bit further afield, in rural Telangana province, he's got one diehard superfan. For him, President Trump's visit to India will likely be a religious experience.
