According to a report from a local Vancouver news source, Disney studios is moving ahead on second TRON sequel and begin shooting TRON 3 in Vancouver on October 5th. According to the source at this time only actor Garrett Hedlund, star of the previous film, is confirmed to return. TRON LEGACY made just over $400 million at the world wide box office in 2010/2011 but under performed on expectations from their $170 million dollar budget.
